Day1: Arrival / Casablanca/Casablanca

Upon arrival you’ll be welcomed by your private guide and driver at the airport. Then you’ll be transferred to Casablanca. If time permits you’ll begin your discovery tour. Casablanca is the biggest city and the economical capital of Morocco. We start with the visit of Mohamed 5 square to admire the colonial administrative architecture. Then we explore the United Nation square and the Arab League square. Visit Hassan 2 mosque: the biggest mosque in Morocco .Afterwards head to your hotel to relax

Day2: Casablanca/Rabat/Chefchouan ;

        

After having breakfast at your hotel, we drive to Rabat which is the capital of Morocco. You start your day by discovering the highlights of this fascinating imperial city. The city tour of Rabat includes the visit of the 12c Oudaya Kasbah, then the beautiful Mohamed 5 Mausoleum, the 12c Hassan Tower

After having lunch, cross part of the Rif Mountain to the colorful city of Chefchouan.

Chefchouan is called the blue City and it is a great place for photographers. Start with the visit of its blue and white medina known for its beautiful doors. Tour the 17th century Kasbah, admire its unique Grand Mosque. Finish at Ras Alma, the waterfalls and sources. There you might see Berber women doing their washing. Then head to your hotel for overnight

Day3: Chefchouan/Volubilis/Meknes/Fes

      

Drive to Volubilis, the most important Roman site in Morocco. Visit the ruins, then photo stop of the town of Moulay Driss1, known as Mecca of the poor and drive to the imperial city of Meknes. The tour includes the visit of the Moulay Ismail mausoleum, Bab AL Mansour gate, the magnificent 17c Royal Granaries and stables and Agdal basin. Then set off to Fes.

Day 4 Fes/ Fes

        

Begin your city tour of the oldest still living medina with touring the 14c New Fes to admire the imposing gates of the King Palace, and then visit the Jewish quarter, the pottery district. Later we stop near the northern 16th c fort to enjoy a panoramic of view of the largest medieval 9th century medina in the Maghreb. Afterwards we admire the blue Bab Boujloud.Then we visit the 14c Bou Inania Mederssa (Koranic University).Proceed our tour with the visit of the Souks to learn about the skills of the artisans .Fes is the capital of Arab crafts. We stop in the artisans ateliers including the famous medieval tanneries. Also among the highlights of your visit: the 9th c Karaouine Mosque (outside), Moulay Driss shrine (outside) he is the founder of Fes.Then, you visit The Nejjarine complex.

Day 5: Fes/Ifrane/Midelt /Erfoud/Merzouga

    

In this leg of your tour in Morocco you begin your Sahara desert expedition. After an early breakfast we drive via the Middle Atlas, stop in the Ski resort of Ifrane. Ifrane is called Moroccan Switserland.Then we cross part of the cedar forest that is home the monkies.After Lunch in Midelt, the capital of apples, we drive along the amazing Ziz valley. After reaching Erfoud, start your discovery in the Sahara desert to the highest sand dunes in Morocco (Erg Cheebi).You will stay in the Berber Sahara camp. You will ride camels; the Ship of the Sahara. Admire the sunset from the sandy dunes; learn about the Nomads and their culture. Admire the starry sky of Africa.

Day 6: Merzouga/Merzouga

You need to get up early in the morning to admire the sunrise. You will ride camels; the Ship of the Sahara, Then after having breakfast in the camp we go to meet the Nomads in the Sahara, They are always moving from one place to another to find water and food for their animals. To learn more about the inhabitants of the desert, you might visit the Khamlia association. They are the descendants of the slaves that were brought from Tombouctou during the high days of the Caravan trade. Enjoy listening to their Gnawa music. You might like to do other activities or just go back to your Berber camp to enjoy the tranquility of the Sahara.

Day 7: Merzouga/Rissani/Erfoud/Dades

Today we leave the Sahara and we will discover Berber architecture along the Kasbahs route. Enjoy the fascinating Todghra Valley and Dades valley.

First stop in Rissani to visit in the 19th century Ksar of Oulad Abdelhalim.Then, visit the shrine of Moulay Ali Shrif; the founder of the dynasty that still is ruling Morocco. Afterwards we stop in Erfoud to visit the fossils factory. Then we drive along the spectacular Todgha valley to reach the gorgeous Todgha gorges .After lunch we will proceed along the rose valley and stop in Kelaa Magouna to shop for rose products. Then admire the famous route of the Kasbahs and the beautiful Dades valley.

Day 8: Dades /Ouarzazate/Ait Ben Haddou/Marrakesh

After having breakfast we admire the road of the Kasbahs. Today we will visit Ouarzazate which is known as the “Mollywood “of Morocco and then we cross the majestic High Atlas. We stop first in Ouarzazate known as the capital of the film industry. Admire the film studios and visit Taourirt Kasbah once the residence of the powerful Berber Glaoui family. Then leave to the most photographed 16thcentuty Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou that was chosen many time to shot scenes of many films including Lawrence of Arabia, The kingdom of Heaven and The Gladiator. Then you cross the picturesque High Atlas Mountain on the way to Marrakesh.

Day 9: Marrakesh /Marrakesh

When you are ready, begin to discover the mysteries of the 11th century medina of Marrakesh, the highlights includes the 12th c Kotoubia mosque (outside), Then you will drive around the ramparts to the Menara Garden, the 19c Bahia palace; it is a great example of the Hispano Moorish architecture. After lunch tour the medieval Souks as Marrakesh is famous for many crafts that are passed from one generation to another. We finish Marrakesh discovery at the famous Jemmaa Elfana Square. Overnight in your hotel in Marrakesh

      

Day 10: Marrakesh/ Essaouira.

Leave the hassle of Marrakesh for a while and drive to the Atlantic city of Essaouira, see the Argan trees on the way, if the goats are on the trees we will have a photo stop. Upon arrival to the UNISCO heritage of Essaouira you begin your tour with the visit of the medina passing by the fish market, we will also visit the woodwork cooperative to learn about the skills of local artisan on the art on Thuya wood; the specialty of the city. Afterwards we walk in the Jewish quarter, the Sakalla fort that commands some wonderful views of the medina, the Atlantic Coast and the busy fishing port.

D11: Essaouira/Essaouira

Today at leisure for independent free time further exploration of the city or free time for more shopping or walk in the sandy beach.

Essaouira is one of the peaceful cities of Morocco that has a special relaxing and it has attracted artists from all over the world.

Day11: Essaouira/Safi/Oualidya/Eljadida/Casablanca

        

We drive along the coastal road along the Atlantic Coast to Casablanca, passing the city of Safi and Oualidya, known for its oyster’s farms. Then proceed to the city of Eljadida that is known in the past as Mazagan. Once we arrive there you will visit the 15th Portuguese medina and its stunning Cistern. Then drive along the Dokkala fertile plain to Casablanca.

Day 12: Casablanca/Casablanca Airport

 

It all depends on your flight but your guide and driver are at your disposal if you want to do some further exploration of Casablanca.

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight back home.
